    חָתַךְ(b. h.) 1) to cut, dissect; to sever. Ḥull.33a חוֹתֵךְ כזיתוכ׳ cuts out flesh of the size of an olive. Ib. 32a ח׳ דלעתוכ׳ if in slaughtering he cut a pumpkin at the same time.
